It's been more than 330 days since hundreds of people were taken hostage by Hamas on October 7.
About 250 people were abducted during the attack and 1,200 killed, according to Israeli figures.
Israel launched a military offensive in the Gaza Strip after the attacks which has killed at least 40,691 Palestinians and injured about 94,000, the enclave's health ministry said in a statement on Saturday.
Since October 7, more than 100 hostages have been released, eight have been rescued, and nearly a dozen bodies have been recovered.
Some have even been returned home and laid to rest.
Before the bodies of six more hostages were recovered over the weekend, Israel authorities believed about 70 captives left in Gaza were still alive.
The missing's faces and names are collated on Bring Them Home Now — a volunteer-run forum for hostages and missing families.
Here's what we know about them.
Supernova music festival abductions
Thousands of young men and women were gathered at a vast field in southern Israel for the Supernova music festival when Hamas militants stormed the event.
At least 360 people were killed in the attack, and about 40 are believed to have been taken hostage, according to police.
Many remain unaccounted-for.

Eliya Cohen would now be 27 years old.
He was hiding under a car with his girlfriend Ziv, who watched him get pulled away by gunmen.
She managed to go unnoticed and survived.
In a video for the Bring Them Home Now initiative, Eliya's family has described him as "good-hearted, smart" and someone who "enjoys life".
The last time his family saw him was on the first evening of the Sukkot holiday.
Romi Gonen'sfamily celebrated her 24th birthday last month in an event they said was aimed at "spreading light".
Romi was trying to escape militants at the music festival when she was abducted.
Her mother has shared a recording of the last phone call she had with her daughter.
She had just been shot and was begging for help.
Her mum said she overheard a man speaking in Arabic, saying, "She's alive. Let's take her", before the line went dead.
Avinatan Or attended the music festival with his girlfriend, Noa Argamani.
The pair were separated when they were taken hostage by Hamas militants.
Ms Argamani was rescued in June after 246 days, but Mr Or remains in captivity.
The attack on Kibbutz Nir Oz
Kibbutz Nir Oz was among the hardest-hit towns near the border with Gaza during the Hamas attack on October 7.
Avraham Munder was taken hostage along with more than 70 people when Hamas-led militants attacked the village, also killing about 20 people, according to The Times of Israel.
The Israeli military recovered his body and those of five others in June in an overnight operation in Gaza's southern district of Khan Younis, it said.
It identified the hostages as Yagev Buchshtab, Alexander Dancyg, Avraham Munder, Yoram Metzger, Nadav Popplewell and Haim Perry — without saying when or how they died.
Five of the hostages were over 50 years old when they were captured, and three had family members who were released during a week-long ceasefire in November — when more than 100 hostages were freed in exchange for Palestinians imprisoned in Israel.
In August, Avraham Munder's body was returned home and laid to rest alongside his son, Roi, who was slain on his front lawn during the October 7 attack on Nir Oz.
Hostages were taken from several other kibbutz and areas of southern Israel close to the border with Gaza.
- Of the 32 hostages taken from the Be'eri kibbutz, the IDF in July said 11 were still being held in Gaza
- Two hostages remain in captivity after attacks at Holit, a kibbutz close to the border fence with the Gaza Strip
- The head of the Nahal Oz kibbutz told local media in June that its community was still missing Tsachi Idan and Omri Miran
Who are the freed hostages?
Israel believes there are still 101 hostages in Gaza and that about 36 of them are feared dead.
About 105 were released in a ceasefire last November in exchange for the release of Palestinians imprisoned by Israel.
A handful were freed in earlier deals.
A mother and daughter from the US, who were kidnapped by Hamas, were the first hostages to be released, a fortnight after the October 7 attack.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Judith Tai Raanan, 59, and her 17-year-old daughter Natalie Shoshana Raanan were abducted from Kibbutz Nahal Oz.
The pair, who live in Chicago, had made the trip to Israel at the beginning of September.
According to US media outlets who spoke to their relatives, the pair had travelled overseas to celebrate the Jewish holidays and the 85th birthday of Judith's mother.
Only eight hostages have been rescued in Israeli military operations.
- Ori Megidish, a 19-year-old Israeli soldier, was rescued during an IDF operation on October 30
- Fernando Simon Marman, 60, and Louis Har, 70, were rescued on February 11, when troops stormed an apartment in southern Gaza
- Qaid Farhan Alkadi, 52, was found in August in a southern Gaza tunnel where hostages were suspected to be held alongside militants and explosives
The other four were rescued in June after what Israel Defense Forces (IDF) described as a "complex daytime operation" in al-Nuseirat, one of eight historic refugee camps in the Gaza Strip.
The operation was carried out in a densely built-up area in central Gaza.
At least 210 Palestinians were killed in air strikes in the area, according to Gazan authorities.
All four hostages had been kidnapped from the Supernova music festival held in Israel near the Gaza border.
- Noa Argamani, 26
- Almog Meir Jan, 22
- Andrey Kozlov, 27
- Shlomi Ziv, 41
Noa Argamani became one of the faces of the October 7 attack when she was filmed being taken away from the festival by Hamas militants on the back of a motorbike.
The video, in which she screamed "Don't kill me!" was widely shared online.

In the video, she reaches for her partner Avinatan Or, who is seen being led away on foot by other men. It is believed he remains a hostage in Gaza.
Both Andrey Kozlov and Shlomi Ziv were working as security guards at the music festival.
It had been reported Mr Ziv helped people escape from the event before being taken hostage.
There were emotional scenes when he was reunited with his family after being held captive for eight months.
